    Ed is one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Along with his wife, Ann, who is the COE (Chief of Everything) at Edward Wohl Woodworking and Design, this soft-spoken man makes cutting boards and chopping blocks from beautifully figured birds-eye maple. They are made to cut on and actually become more beautiful as an object that is used for the purpose it was created. I think of wood as a living, changing thing even when the tree no longer exists.
