Kim and David Okrant have been making beautiful, functional boxes for almost 30 years. The California woodworkers select choice figured woods, such as redwood burls and bird-eye maple burls, as box tops. Side panels are ebony, birds-eye maple or bubinga to enhance the choice of lid wood. A spare, elegant design showcases the figured woods in these timeless collectors’ boxes.
