Josh Simpson

Our friend Dick Muller’s brother, Don Muller (owner of the Don Muller Gallery), first introduced us to Josh Simpson’s work in the 80’s when he discovered I collected marbles. Josh’s marbles were—no pun intended—out of this world. That began our collection of Josh Simpson glass.

Best known for his planets and related blown glass objects, his work is profoundly thoughtful, as is the man. It is always amazing that such small pieces yield so much information. Our selection of Josh’s work waxes and wanes depending on the economy, but he is a staple for us—a necessity.
